Recently, I stayed at Four Seasons Resort in Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol. My husband and I had the most relaxing time and luxurious time. We were met with a very warm and inviting welcome. As well as, a welcome experience like I’ve never received elsewhere. I don’t want to spoil it, but it has to do with a birdcage - sans bird, a welcome mocktail, and a very grateful host. (I don’t want to ruin this surprise for anyone who might be thinking of traveling here). The first thing I noticed after arrival was the incredibly fresh smell of the open-concept lobby and the view of the ocean. It is expansive and unlike any lobby I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world!
We waited for our room to be ready (we arrived around lunchtime). We toured the grounds and the pool/beach area. Four Seasons is an expansive property. However, the layout is so perfect that you do feel a sense of intimacy while you are on property. There’s absolutely nothing that you need that they cannot provide. There are 8 different dining options, including room service. We did not have a bad meal or entree the entire time we were there. We wanted to experience local cuisine while in Mexico, and an elevated Mexican experience was exactly what we were given. Everything was fresh, made-to-order, and delicious.
Once our room was ready, we were taken up to our stunning Ocean-view La Casona Room with a King-sized bed. The Welcome Amenities, fresh champagne with treats, and a thoughtful note from the GM were the perfect kick-off to our time here. The view of the Ocean from our expansive balcony and seating area was breathtaking. I’ve never had a bad view from any Four Seasons property I’ve stayed at. The linens, towels, bath robes, and bedding were all top-tier. The bathroom and vanity area were incredible, with a large soaking tub that was big enough for two.
We spent many mornings and evenings from our balcony’s seating area watching the sunrise and the whales jump out of the water. I’ve never seen that happen in real life, and it happened all day, every day. Each morning, breakfast at Palmerio was delicious. It is, without a doubt, the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever experienced anywhere, including my latte, which was made fresh each morning at breakfast. On our last evening, we had the housemade sorbets delivered to the room while we watched the sunset from our balcony. It really was enchanting and the perfect finale to our trip.
The beach and Four Seasons staff were attentive and thoughtful. We always had fresh water to drink, and each day, they brought complimentary homemade popsicles to our chairs. The View from the beach is breathtaking. I cannot begin to tell you how entertaining it was to see the whales jumping out of the water all day. It was a beautiful experience and one we are not likely to forget. My husband snorkeled right off the swimmable beach with the equipment provided by the staff, which was included in our stay. The umbrellas, towel service and complimentary water are services that I think anyone coming to Four Seasons Resort Cabo San Lucas will enjoy.
