Pawley’s Island is one of the most historical and laid-back of all the grandstand resort communities. Not only did I grow up coming here every summer, but this is where my husband and I got married.

Within a 5-mile radius, you have Brookgreen Gardens, Murrell’s Inlet, which has the Marsh Walk, tons of low-country cuisine, and Huntington State Park. There’s so much to explore and indulge in. If you are into golf, then Pawley’s Island has many courses to check out.

Explore the famous Hammock Shops or the Spanish moss-covered All Saints Church. There are still many historical plantations that have survived hurricanes and still stand to this day to educate both the young and old. There’s more than meets the eye here, and will leave you planning your next trip before you even leave our sandy shores.
