Once on the property, guests can enjoy complimentary scheduled transportation throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort. They can take a relaxing cruise on a Disney water taxi to Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, or utilize the Epcot Resort Hotels shuttle bus to reach all other attractions and Disney resorts within the Walt Disney World® complex. Transportation arrives at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin approximately every 15 to 20 minutes, allowing guests to come and go as they please with minimal wait time. Enjoy our pristine pools, kids-only Camp Dolphin, and nearby attractions for parents, like the Mandara Spa and four championship golf courses at Walt Disney World.
Recently, I stayed here with some of my best friends. I previously stayed at Walt Disney World Swan Reserve and the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. However, I wanted to be able to stay at each of the Marriott properties/sister resorts. This hotel did not disappoint. It has everything, and I do mean, everything that you could want from a Walt Disney World Resort. From incredible dining, transportation, spacious and comfortable rooms with nice linens and bath & body products. However, my favorite detail about this hotel is its location. YOU CANNOT BEAT IT! Anywhere…PERIOD!
As it is located on Disney property it is considered a Disney Deluxe Resort. That’s right! It includes all of the benefits, amenities, and perks of being a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort. Including, early theme park entry and my favorite those “Extended Evening Hours.” I LOVE being able to walk to EPCOT! My favorite entrance to EPCOT is through International Gateway. It’s less crowded and gets you straight to World Showcase. Which is convenient during the festivals or if you are trying to rope drop Remy’s in the France Pavilion or Frozen Ever After in Norway. However, if you didn’t want to visit the theme parks you would have plenty to do here. Being in the EPCOT resort area you have access to the other resorts for dining as well. Including, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Disney’s Yacht Club & Beach Club.
The Dolphin has some of my favorite Dining. Including Rosa’s Mexicana and Shula’s Steakhouse(Soon to be Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina). Todd’s Bluezoo also has some of my favorite Scallops and Short Rib Appetizers on Disney Property. It is a must try! Also, don’t sleep on Rosa’s breakfast buffet in the mornings if you are staying here. Did anyone say Mickey Shaped Waffles? There’s also ice cream, a fun diner for those latenight eats, and a cafe.
